Senior Year Retrospect

Fall 2007 jottings
在這個非常時期迷上了日劇……多次通宵達旦“煲劇”……罪過……作為懲罰上天賜了一場fever……Freshmen
Year以來第一次……還持續了三天……
每個禮拜跟TAMAR見面……更有數次meeting在她家（Albee Annex)……才知道原來她住學校……有一次在她
家DINNER，本來還期待甚麼home cooking，結果是PIZZA with pepperoni and mushroom-_-!
原來TAMAR嫁了一個KOREAN……去年還誔下兒子……害我整個JUNIOR YEAR沒有ADVISOR……
上Econometrics晚節不保……withdraw……
渴望double major(econ and music)……無奈因欠缺毅力和自信而放棄……
Geoclassical Economics這門課……非常有意義……from Land Value Tax to Eco-economics to
Imperialism……大開眼界……Neoclassical (mainstream) Economics自欺欺人的理論淪為笑柄……
Senior Project Midway Board: too much data, not enough writing
學期完結後花了一個禮拜在NYC完成Geoclassical Economics term paper……住進了MANHATTAN一家挺有
特色的HOSTEL……晚上不用睡床，而是在COMMON ROOM隨地亂躺-_-!

參加婚禮一點不好玩……交通、住宿、禮金一共花了將近US$200 -_-! 幸好禮服不用破費（謝謝舜揚）


Spring 2008
有生以來第一次包餃子……(chinese new year)
四月十八日……有蛋糕、寫滿了字的賀卡，還有很多人賞面……好大的面子……謝謝各位……
Senior Project 3rd presentation徹底失敗……
第一次喝醉兼嘔吐-_-! (for no apparent reason……)
Spring Break自製了Taco……自暑假以來第一次認真下廚……
Bought my second electric guitar……sold my first……then bought my third-_-! (went on a
spending spree in anticipation of the imminent income stream, that is, if I manage to
find employment)
My senior project culminated in an inconclusive (i.e. lame) conclusion. Many regrets. The
copy handed in to the library is outright embarassing.
四月三十日，直到下午四時四十五分還在趕PROJECT……江山易改，本性難易……-_-! 勉強把PROJECT遞了
給LIBRARY，心情沉到了谷底……好不甘心……
勉為其難繼續徹夜不眠趕工，到五月二日總算有點改善……really the final version……for Board
Meeting purpose……
Last presentation went better than expected.
Board meeting ended satisfactorily. What more can I ask for for the meagre effort I put
into this whole thing?
I wish I had consulted Dorothy Crane earlier. Anyhow, I'm glad my project is at least a
somewhat enjoyable read.

P.S.比較難忘的是為了練習presentation特地跟TAMAR跑了一趟Hannaford……(for refreshments for senior presentations......)

Next stage in life: Uncertainty (unemployment? HK or US?)
